Rion

Rion (pronounced ryan)

Invented By~ Sushi

Home World~ Spirit and Lavana

Height at the Shoulder~ 2.5-3.5 ft.

Species' Colors~ Any earth tones, usually in large patch-like markings on a base of white.

Temperment~ Friendly, playful, and rather simple in their thoughts, Rions are loyal to a fault and usually cannot survive alone. This is why they live in large groups, almost always with other species.

Species' Description~ Well, they change greatly from puphood to adulthood. As pups, they're somewhat like shih tzu's (*cough* Is Sushi modeling a species after her darling little Orion puppy? Why, she just might be…), big-mouthed, short-legged, and total fluffballs. However, their muzzles are longer than shih tzu's, but other than having no tails, it's about the same… and their claws are feline, too. However, as they grow up, they change a good deal. Their fur goes from fluffy and puffy to long and silky, their heads narrow into more wolfish, though gentle, features. Their legs lengthen into wolf-style legs as well, though their claws remain small and retractable. A tail grows, also wolfish, but long. (Truthfully, if you saw an adult Rion, you wouldn't think wolf. It's just the best way I can describe their features.) This long, silky fur makes them seem indescribably graceful and beautiful, giving them an air of elegance which is dispelled the moment they come bounding up to greet you, tails wagging and tongues lolling. Probably too friendly for their own good, Rions welcome anyone and everyone into their homes and hearts.
