Height at the Shoulder~ Well, they stand kinda hunched over, so about six to seven feet… when they straighten up, probably seven to eight'n a half feet.

Species' Colors~ A whirling blaze of colors! Whoo. More about that in the Descrip.

Temperament~ Um… eloquent, intense when they need to be, passionate, short-tempered, snappish, sometimes sarcastic or cynical, very nervous and jerky and sometimes paranoid (which shows in their movements), but all around very social creatures. Highly intelligent, as well.

Species' Description~ Well, they're bipeds. But let's just start with the head and go from there. They have a very long, narrow, pointed snout (like a kif, if anyone reads those books) with long, narrow, sharp snake-like fangs that are 'folded' back in the mouth so unless they open their mouth and the fangs extend, they're invisible. They have a forked tongue, too. Their eyes are almond-shaped and dark, simply one dark color, without pupil, iris, or whites. They have a crest which begins just as their skull slopes downwards, made of ridges which can be raised or flattened to indicate moods. Their neck is semi-long and thin, with the muscles and most of all tendons standing out sharply. The crest continues down it, and it's arched to shove their head forward. They have narrow shoulders, if you could get them to hold their long, gaunt arms at their sides for a profile, but that only happens when they draw up and stare down their nose at you. Huh. Anyways, their arms are exceedingly long, with taut and wiry muscles, again with tendons and muscles standing out sharply. They have four-fingered hands, very elongated and narrow fingers, with long, narrow, curving eagle-like claws on their fingertips. And yes, Priings are not above giving an annoying being a slash with those three-inch claws. Their spines are arched as well, hunching them over slightly. They have narrow chests, rather like an underfed demon might, with the ribs standing out sharply, and after the short ribcage is a rather long, narrow, ovalish waist of great flexibility. Below that, they have long, lean legs, very long (as are their arms) in proportion to their body-size. Anyways. The legs are shaped like a human's - that is, if a human were walking on the balls of their feet, with their heels in the air, all the time. But the 'foot' (from toe to heel) is greatly elongated, giving them a bit more height. As with their entire body, the tendons and muscles tend to stand out sharply. They hold their legs reasonably bent, with their thigh nearly horizontal, instead of vertical as humans stand. They have four toes, each long, gnarled, and ending in a viciously long, narrow, eagle-like claw. They do have a tail, probably about seven or eight feet long, which is slender and ends in a whip-like tip. The tail is prehensile and very mobile, often displaying their moods. That afore-mentioned crest continues all the way down their spine, and halfway down their tail, by the way, with the ridges on the spine reaching two feet in height. That's the simple part of describing them. They also have… wings, for lack of a better term. Wings that are far too small to fly with, positioned parallel with the Priing, right behind the shoulders, and are shaped like… a lionfish tail, I suppose, striped with long 'ribbons' going out farther than the actual 'wing'. Hard to describe. The actual wing, not counting the ribbons, goes from the start of the crest down to their rump, but the ribbons can be up to five feet in length, and are either stiff, or flexible. Really, the wing is more akin to a fin than anything, but oh whell. They call one wing/fin a vrenp, with plural being virenp. That's the best I can translate it, anyways. These virenp also display emotions, able to be flapped and usually the ribbons, at least the longest ones, able to move somewhat.
