Jhee

Name - Jhee

Home World and Habitat - Aibla; cities and laboratories… they don't go outside. Not that there is much of an outside left for the heavily-industrialized Aibla.

Height at Shoulder - 6 to 8.5 feet

Coloration - Very pale, dull colors… cream, grey, off-white, goldish, etc. There'll be an odd melanistic one once in a while.

Temperament - Very inquisitive, eloquent, elegant, refined, intelligent, and really without moral values in regard to their test subjects. (Think stereotypical British for the first part.) They adore tea and biscuits. But their language is designed to be concise and pragmatic, so you won't find many pretty words in there. Most less-important scientists also tend to slur their words and add some sort of off-world accent to it — that's one of the few things they consider 'cool'.

Description - Extremely tall, spindly, willowy humanoids. They have around ten long, spidery fingers on each hand, the innermost of which is a thumb; very long, 'sad' faces; and large globule-like eyes (which are very dark and reflective with no iris or pupil). They wear robes, both genders, and have almost rabbit-like feet. They also wear boots, when they go outside or on-ship. Like I said, very thin, no tail or anything. Nothing spectacular about them, physically, but they are known throughout the galaxies for their ways.

Technology - They conduct scientifical research and bio-engineering experiments on any creature, on any world, that they can capture. Their spaceships are adept at docking with a variety of alien craft, and always have several strong cages to contain any specimen that they capture. As technology goes, they're extremely advanced, and though pacifists, they can defend their worlds and selves easily. As mentioned above, the Jhee have little or no moral expectations as how those captives are to be treated… even though 98.67% of all captives are sentient. They have created several species, only a few allowed to grow in numbers, and basically wreaked havoc on most creatures' DNA. Those who escape from Jhee laboratories are very fortunate, indeed. They also have several colony-planets ("Spirit" is one), a few of which having growing populations of select engineered species. More often, though, if they want numerous members of one of their species, they'll just choose an already-living world to place them on.

Nothing spectacular about them, physically, but they are known throughout the galaxies for their ways. The Shee have a home planet, Aibla, which is your standard-alien-planet. Yet, on that planet is where they conduct scientifical research and bio-engineering experiments on any creature, on any world, that they can capture. Their spaceships are adept at docking with a variety of alien craft, and always have several strong cages to contain any specimen that they capture.
