Species: Adochi

Adochi [pronunciation - ah-DOH-chee || plural - Adochi]

Home World~ Raobé

Height at the Shoulder~ From two to three and a half feet.

Colouration~ Any muted tone - browns and greys most common, though dark greens and blacks aren't exactly rare.

Clothing~ They'll often wear wristbands, belts, collars, and various utility pouches, but as for actual clothing - none. They have a thing for camoflauging fabrics and devices, however.

Temperament~ An intense longing for flight, either on their own wings or in a ship. An ache to learn, anything and everything. A need to explore, and an incredible talent for mechanical things. They also love good food, and have a healthy appetite for a good fight as well. A caged Adochi is a dying Adochi, basically.

Description~ A quadruped with lean and muscular legs ending in paws tipped with unretractable claws. Low-slung, barreled body, the spine able of complete twists and amazing feats of elastic stretching. The neck long and the head tapered, ending in a rounded muzzle, which shelters needle-like fangs. The eyes large, with a protective, clear eyelid for when speeding in flight. The ears long and slim, able to be flared to collect sound from a wide area, mostly dealing in excruciatingly high pitches, but able to hear normal ranges as well. The nostrils akin to a raptor's, and without much sense of smell, about as much as a human has. Tough hide, with fur so short as to be called down, and only to be seen as a darker hide when wet. Their wing muscles wrap around their torso, making it so that when they fly, their entire spin curves inwards or outwards. Their wings are very long, and not really broad, more like able to cup to capture air and propel them forwards… draconic wings, I suppose you would say, although not much in that sense. The fingers of the wings are incredibly dexterous, long and strong, tipped in sharp, needle-like, retractable claws… they're used in flying a ship or typing, or anything else requiring fingers. Their eyesight is very specialized for things anywhere from 50 ft or closer, and can see very well for anything farther, especially moving things. Their tail is long and supple, prehensile, lean and thin.

Technology~ The Adochi race, as a whole, is very advanced. With Raobé a civilized planet to begin with, spaceflight shoddily developed even before Tumwav, the black Original, was Created. However, once the Adochi began to grow numerous, they took to the field of flight and space travel with an alacrity rivaled only by distant galactic neighbors, the Olashi. Adochi have several classes of ships and objects, but such in-depth information cannot be given out to an alien. (This doesn't mean it doesn't get out anyways; just that it's not supposed to be done.) Adochi engines are matter-antimatter, using small chunks of each substance to fire the three main engines (maingines), though Adochi ships have up to a dozen auxilary engines which use 'ordinary', Olashi-style energy propulsion, for Crazouli crystals are plentiful on Raobé as well as on Lavana. All in all, gadgets included, Adochi are very close to the Olashi in technological advancements.
